Lots of the world is affected by Acid Rain. One Third of China is affected, so is Russia, Japan, Scandinavia and parts of the US like the Great Lakes. Scandinavia’s problem partially comes from being down wind from Russia. Most of the issue comes from fossil fuel combustion and industries that fill the air with sulfur dioxide. The acid rain is killing plant life, rivers and lakes and is harmful to animals. This hurts drinking supply, soil and food supply.
